I can say with complete honesty I just can’t do ice-skating. I’ve tried it before several times, but I simply do not have the skills to do it – I also cannot wink and I would be so thankful if someone could reveal its secret.
Nevertheless, when I read an article about a renewed ice-skating park in Budapest, I decided it was time to try it again. My little sister came with me, who did figure skating for a few years before, so she was the perfect person to teach me.
A stunning ice-skating park in Szent Imre square, Budapest. The surrounding area is nothing special, but the ice rink is absolutely awesome. The best feature of it is a 150 m long, 2,5 m wide ice corridor. This nicely decorated place is glittering at night and there were not too many people when I was there so I could be clumsy, and no one distracted me from it. Although I still can’t do ice-skating, I had a wonderful night with my little sister.
